Participants receive all required materials, including scrubs, textbooks, exam prep, and exam fees, at no personal expense. After finishing classroom instruction, students begin 162 hours of supervised clinical training at San Ysidro Health sites across San Diego County starting in July 2025.
Eligibility requires a high school diploma or GED, being at least 18 years old, attending a mandatory orientation, and completing a background check. Those who complete the program and pass the NHA exam may be offered job placement at San Ysidro Health.
